If your professional studies were taken in Mexico, please submit the following admission documentation:
If your studies were taken abroad, you must prove that you have undergraduate studies valid in Mexico, submit your admission documentation: 
  • The last 2 pages of your admission application, which must be signed by you. 
  • Birth certificate (original) 
  • Simple copy of CURP (Mexico's Unique Population Registry Code).
  • Simple copy of Kardex (undergraduate studies or bachelor’s degree) both sides
  • Simple copy of bachelor’s degree, both sides
  • Simple copy of Professional license, both sides*
  • Official Identification (INE voting ID or passport) both sides.

If your studies were taken abroad, you must prove that you have undergraduate studies valid in Mexico. 



  • The last 2 pages of your admission application, which must be signed by you.

If your studies were taken in Mexico, submit the following admission documentation: 

If your studies were taken abroad, you must prove that you have at least valid undergraduate studies in Mexico, submit your admission documentation: 

  • The last 2 pages of the admission application, which must be signed by you.
  • Original, notarized copy, or certified copy (“compulsa”) of Birth certificate, or birth certificate duly certified by an authority of the country of origin. 
  • Original document of the Kardex (undergraduate studies or bachelor’s degree) both sides
  • Notarized copy of the bachelor’s degree, both sides.
  • Official identification with photo, both sides.  
  • Invitation letter
  • FMM (Multiple Immigration Form) currently in force if the student resides in Mexico.  


  • The last 2 pages of the admission application, which must be signed by you.

The Graduate Admission Test (PAEP, Spanish) is designed to assess your skills, abilities, and knowledge in order to enroll in graduate school. The test is divided into five areas: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, cognitive ability, writing, and English proficiency.

If you live in an area where the PAEP test is not available, you can take an equivalent test such as GMAT, GRE, and EA. Acceptance of equivalent tests depends on the graduate program you are applying to. Contact your graduate program advisor for more information and schedule your test.

Some graduate programs require you to prove a level of English language proficiency. You can meet this requirement by taking authorized English proficiency tests.

  • TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) only those tests applied by Tec de Monterrey
  • TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) 
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing) 
  • BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) 
  • FCE (First Certificate in English) 
  • CAE (Certificate of Advanced English)
  • PTEG 4 (Pearson Test of English General) 
  • TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) 
  • Foreign Language Certificates from International High School 

Our admissions process seeks to learn who you are, what stirs you or what you are passionate about, and how you can make a unique contribution to our student community. Each graduate program may have additional requirements that will help the Admissions Committee know you better. Depending on the graduate program you are interested in, we may request additional documentation such as:

  • Resume
  • Recommendation letters
  • Letter of intent or motivational letter 
  • Interview
  • Specific previous studies   
  • Specific General Knowledge Tests  
  • Psychometric tests
  • Research proposal

If you would like to know about the specific requirements for the graduate program of your choice, please contact your graduate program advisor.

Once the file is evaluated by the Admissions Committee, you as candidate will be informed about the final decision.

We’d like to suggest to you to prepare your file on time considering the deadlines for participating in the evaluation rounds. It is fundamental that all candidates have their complete admission file before being informed about the Admissions Committee’s final decision.

The Admissions Committee’s decision is final, and the selection process is private and confidential. Therefore, Tecnológico de Monterrey reserves the right to determine the reasons for the admission decision.

The last step to be part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s student community is to complete the registration process. If you were admitted to the program, you will receive instructions from the Admissions Advisor in order to complete the process according to the program of your choice.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACADEMIC TALENT 

Characteristics

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize students with high academic performance, by providing educational support to pursue their graduate studies in a master’s program of research and doctoral degrees. It seeks to recognize young people with extraordinary academic performance, regardless of their economic situation and nationality.

  • The call for applications to this scholarship is carried out twice a year for enrollment in August and February.
  • The scholarship will be up to 100% of the tuition cost to study in one of the participating programs only for the campus which you have been admitted to.
  • The number of scholarships to be granted is limited.  
  • The student who was granted a scholarship will join, during his/her academic program, one of the Strategic Focus Research Groups (GIEE, Spanish) designed by the academic program in order to conduct research activities. 
  • This scholarship may not be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Requirements

1. Be admitted to the program.
 2. Have a cumulative GPA in his/her undergraduate studies equal to or higher than 90/100 or its equivalent.
 3. Obtain a score equal to or higher than 585 in his/her Graduate Admission Test (PAEP, Spanish) or its equivalent in other tests authorized by Tecnológico de Monterrey.
 4. Be a student with exclusive dedication to the program in which he/she is enrolled in.

Call for applications to this scholarship

The beneficiaries of this scholarship will be selected among the applicants who meet the requirements established in the corresponding section of this call.

  • The number of scholarships to be awarded has a limited quota.
  • The decision on the awarding of Scholarships to Academic Talent will be final.
  • Any situation not included in this call will be resolved by the Scholarship Committee in accordance with the applicable regulations.
  • All students benefiting from the scholarship will receive information explaining the steps to follow to activate their scholarship.

Responsibilities of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship for Academic Talent:

The student who is awarded the Scholarship for Academic Talent acquires the rights and obligations set forth in the Regulations on Scholarships and Financial Aid for Graduate Students currently in force.

Among the responsibilities or obligations are the following:

  • Keep a Regular Academic Status in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Academic Regulations for Graduate Students.
  • Keep an average, each period or school term, equal to or higher than 90.
  • Comply with up to 8 (eight) hours per week of Scholarship Service in activities designated by the academic program.
  • Be a full-time student during the term of the scholarship.
  • Take the academic load established in his/her course plan and determined by the program management within the corresponding period.
  • Pursue his/her studies uninterruptedly in the graduate program in which they are enrolled in.


ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP 

Characteristics

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize students with high academic performance to pursue their graduate studies within a program with professional direction and connected with organizations belonging to the public or private sectors. It seeks to recognize young people with extraordinary academic performance, regardless of their economic situation and nationality.

  • The call for applications to this scholarship is twice a year for enrollment in the semester-long programs in August and February, and 3 times a year for enrollment in trimester-long programs in January, April, and September.
  • The scholarship will be up to 30% of the tuition cost to study in one of the participating programs only for the campus which you have been admitted to.
  • The number of scholarships to be granted is limited.  
  • This scholarship may not be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by Tecnológico de Monterrey.


Requirements

1. Be admitted to the program.
 2. Have a cumulative GPA in his/her undergraduate studies equal to or higher than 90/100 or its equivalent.
 3. Obtain a score equal to or higher than 585 in his/her Graduate Admission Test (PAEP, Spanish) or its equivalent in other tests authorized by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Call for applications to this Scholarship

The beneficiaries of this scholarship will be selected from among the applicants who meet the requirements established in the corresponding section of this call.

  • The number of scholarships to be awarded is limited, so not all candidates who meet the requirements will be able to get it. For the selection process, all applicants will be classified from highest to the lowest scores, according to the results obtained in the Scholarship requirements.
  • The decision on the awarding of Scholarships to Academic Talent will be final.
  • Any situation not included in this call will be resolved by the Scholarship Committee in accordance with the applicable regulations.
  • All students benefiting from the scholarship will receive information explaining the steps to follow to activate their scholarship.

Responsibilities of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship for Academic Talent:

The student who is awarded the Scholarship for Academic Talent acquires the rights and obligations set forth in the Regulations on Scholarships and Financial Aid for Graduate Students currently in force.

  • Keep an average, each period or school term, equal to or higher than 85.
  • Pursue his/her studies uninterruptedly in the graduate program in which they are enrolled in.
SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Characteristics

The objective is to recognize students with extraordinary academic performance who have recently graduated from an undergraduate program at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

  • Participation in the calls for applications for these scholarships is made by means of an invitation letter to the students who are candidates soon to graduate and who are holders of the best GPA’s in their professional career.
  • The call for applications to this scholarship is made twice a year according to the semester graduation periods for undergraduate programs.
  • The scholarship may be up to 100% of the tuition cost to study in one of the participating programs only for the campus and program which you have been admitted to.
  • The number of scholarships to be awarded is limited to one Scholarship per School of origin of the candidate.
  • This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Requirements

  1. Be admitted to the program.
  2. Have a cumulative GPA in his/her undergraduate studies equal to or higher than 95/100 or its equivalent.
  3. Obtain a score equal to or higher than 600 in his/her Graduate Admission Test (PAEP, Spanish) or its equivalent in other tests authorized by Tecnológico de Monterrey.
  4. Be a student with exclusive dedication to the program in which he/she is enrolled in.
  5. Be selected in the Call for Scholarships for Academic Excellence for graduate programs.

Call for applications to this Scholarship

Selection of winners

The beneficiaries of this scholarship will be selected from among the applicants who meet the requirements set forth in the corresponding section of this call for applications, based on the score obtained in the PAEP test and the GPA of previous studies and will be subject to the following considerations:

  • Only students who have graduated in the academic period immediately prior to the period of the call for applications are eligible to apply.
  • The decision on the awarding of Academic Scholarships will be final.  
  • Any situation not included in this call for applications will be resolved by the Scholarship Committee in accordance with the applicable regulations.
  • All students benefiting from the Scholarship will receive information explaining the steps to follow to activate their scholarship.
  • The number of scholarships to be awarded is limited.  So, we will only have one winner for each School of origin. For the selection process, all applicants will be classified from the highest to the lowest score, according to the result obtained from the weighting of the PAEP score and the GPA of previous studies.
  • Only the score of a PAEP test obtained during the first time that the test was taken will be considered for a master’s degree. In the event that a candidate takes such test on two or more occasions, only the results obtained from the first test will be considered.
  • In the event two students obtain the same score, the decision criterion will be the comprehensive admissions evaluation.
  • The Institute reserves the right to declare the awarding of some scholarships null and void.

Responsibilities of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship for Academic Talent:

The student who is awarded the Scholarship for Academic Excellence acquires the rights and obligations set forth in the Regulations on Scholarships and Financial Aid for Graduate Students currently in force.

Among the responsibilities or obligations are the following:

  • Keep a Regular Academic Status in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Academic Regulations for Graduate Students.
  • Keep an average, each period or school term, equal to or higher than 90.
AGREEMENTS

EXATEC Agreements

The purpose of this scholarship is to offer a benefit for alumni who have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Alumni will receive a percentage reduction of the tuition cost. This support cannot be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

There are distinctive educational agreements for each program. To find out more, contact your graduate program advisor.

Civil Servant Agreements

The purpose is to offer a benefit to employees of government/federal agencies that have an agreement with Tecnológico de Monterrey to whom a percentage reduction of tuition cost is applied. This support may not be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

There are distinctive educational agreements for each program. To find out more, contact your graduate program advisor.

Business Agreements

This benefit is offered to students who belong to a company, institution, or organization which Tecnológico de Monterrey has an agreement with, currently in force, and whom a percentage reduction of the tuition cost will be applied to, according to the stated for each case. This support may not be combined with any other scholarship or educational support granted by Tecnológico de Monterrey.

FIDERH Agreement (Fund for Human Resources Development)

Due to current agreements with Tecnológico de Monterrey, our students who have benefited with a credit from the Fund for Human Resources Development (FIDERH, Spanish) granted by Banco de México will receive a percentage reduction of the tuition cost. This support cannot be combined with any other scholarship or educational support.
