  • Your advisor will generate your unique registration number and send you your admission application.
  • Fill it out and submit it.

To start with your admission process, it is necessary to send the following documents to your advisor and coordinate with them the steps to follow:

  1. Official transcript.
  2. Professional degree.
  3. Resume.
  4. Motivational letter or essay where you explain the reasons why you should be admitted to the postgraduate program of interest; whether it is to develop professionally or to work on your research project for applicable postgraduate programs.
  5. Two letters of recommendation.

Each program may have additional requirements, please request guidance from your advisor.

The evaluation of your comprehensive background will require an interview, you need to contact your advisor, who will assist you scheduling it, as well as addressing any doubts or questions you may have about the interview.

Prepare for the postgraduate admission exam

Based on the program requirements, the advisor will let you know if you need to take the Prueba de Admisión a Estudios de Posgrado (Postgraduate Admission Test, PAEP in spanish.) The PAEP is designed to evaluate your aptitudes, skills, and knowledge for entry into the postgraduate program of your choice. The test is divided into five areas: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, cognitive ability, writing, and English.

We invite you to approach your advisor to explore the various options available for preparation so that you can take the PAEP.

We invite you to prepare your application well in advance, considering the deadlines for participation in the evaluation rounds. It is of utmost importance that all candidates have completed their admission file before receiving the final decision by the Admissions Committee.

The decision of the Committee is final, and the selection process is private and confidential. Therefore, Tecnológico de Monterrey reserves the reasons for the admission decision.
