Complexity of the public problems that societies face requires professionals with skills and knowledge to lead change and improve communities at all levels, based on proposing solutions with innovative, ethical, and responsible approaches.

The integration of various disciplines and action-based teaching are essential to merge theoretical with practical learning. This combination makes possible to address complex challenges with a deep understanding of the problems, using analytical and technological tools. It is essential to work with profiles capable of leading transformations in the public sphere, whether from the government, non-governmental organizations, or the private sector.


The Master of Public Policy (MPP) of Tecnológico de Monterrey is a transdisciplinary program designed to train students with the skills and knowledge necessary to develop, implement and evaluate public policies, as well as giving them tools to understand and propose robust solutions to complex public problems. The program focuses on areas of study such as economics, artificial intelligence, political science, quantitative analysis and law, providing students with a solid understanding of how public policies work and how they can influence the transformation of public space.

The Master's in Public Policy at Tecnológico de Monterrey, being a program with a transdisciplinary approach, is aimed at graduates of any discipline with a desire to learn about public policy and develop skills that allow them to transform society. It focuses on profiles that come from the public sector; candidates that want leader public positions; social entrepreneurs and activists; researchers and academics, as well as professionals from the private sector, who have the interest and motivation to have an impact on the public sector.

  • Understand the complexity of public problems and the approaches to propose transdisciplinary solutions.
